Ashley Alderson

Founder & CEO

Hailing from North Dakota where her nearest shopping opportunity was over 300 miles away, Ashley Alderson longed for a place online to find and shop the boutiques she loved all over the country, together in one place.

“There must be a place for shoppers like me who love boutiques to find them all — and a place boutique owners themselves can connect to find resources & grow,” Ashley thought.

Ashley’s background in business, marketing, and economic development fueled the desire to simply make life easier for small businesses by providing them training, exclusive savings, events, and wholesale shopping, in one simple place. And all in the name of COMMUNITY over COMPETITION since 2013.

Today, The Boutique Hub & Shop The Best Boutiques are the central connection point for the retail industry, providing a daily membership packed with resources, live events, signature courses, wholesale shopping, daily networking and a consumer facing marketplace for boutiques.

Ashley is a wife, busy momma of 3, jewelry junkie, barrel racer, cancer survivor, basketball fan, speaker of sarcasm, and heart for those with a dream.

Eric has always believed in The Boutique Hub's mission, and when the opportunity presented itself, he joined his wife Ashley as an official team member at The Hub. He has the "helper" mentality and is always looking for ways to secure long-term growth for the company.

Beth is a longtime supporter of boutiques and small communities, which is why she is a perfect fit for her position. As one of the Hub's OG's, Beth has seen it all & is the glitter glue that keeps it all together. This girl loves working behind-the-scenes, but when she isn't, you may see her breaking out into dance, drinking a margarita, or asleep if it's after 9pm.

Sara has been in the boutique industry for over 20 years and has a Master’s in Business Administration. As The Boutique Hub’s Director of Education, she will share her practical knowledge of the boutique business with Hub members. On top of her boutique experience, Sara is a rodeo coach, started a jewelry brand, is a wife, and a mom of two girls.

Jeff's unofficial title is "Digital Marketing Unicorn" because he has skills & knowledge that we didn't even know existed! When he's not exploring new marketing avenues, you can find him running, drinking whiskey, speaking sarcasm, or spending time with his wife & son.

Samantha is the Wholesale Account Representative at The Hub. She helps Brands navigate the wholesale market by connecting them with vetted retailers, sharing industry-specific tools, and curating a community of peers in business. She brings a unique perspective to the Hub that comes from her experience as a designer/owner of an apparel line and sales representative in an apparel showroom at the Dallas Market Center.

James is from Cincinnati, Ohio and has been teaching himself web development for the past 10 years. He joined the Boutique Hub in 2021. His background is in healthcare as a Medical Lab Supervisor. When not coding, he enjoys reading and hanging out with his family.

Hi, I'm Megan! I have been in the fashion world the last 5 years, and I knew when I decided to close my own boutique that I wanted to continue to be a part of this industry. I am so excited to be on the Membership Team here at The Hub and to help you achieve your goals as a boutique owner! 3 fun facts about me: I am a mom to 4 kiddos and for some reason this always shocks people, haha! 😉 I love all things True Crime. I sing on the Worship Team at my church.

Shannon is a mother of three, a self-proclaimed Disney adult, and a lover of all things colorful.

Samantha Pfaff is the Community Moderator for the Hub and is located in small town Davie County, North Carolina. She has a huge heart for people and feel that community is the best way to serve so she is in charge of taking care of our member activity within our Facebook Groups. With an extensive background of live selling and social strategies, she brings a plethora of knowledge to the table.

She places emphasis on the sense of beauty in artistry over commerciality, all while navigating the visual components that play into a creative and entrepreneurially minded industry. She’s worked in fashion for the majority of her career, has a husky dog, loves art and is excited to contribute all things aesthetically pleasing.

FAQ

The Boutique Hub is for all boutique types: apparel, accessories, beauty, decor, and with all selling types from e-commerce, brick and mortar, mobile to social. We do require that all members are a legally operational business including tax id and sales tax permit information. Models such as buy-in-groups are not allowed inside the Hub. We reserve the right to approve or deny any member as we see fit for the integrity of the community. Oh ya, and if you’re mean or don’t like to have fun, you’ll have to go.

If you sell wholesale goods to boutique retailers, we’d love to meet you! We are looking for brands with great reputations, that have been in business for at least 2 months’ time with the quality of their products tested so boutiques know what to expect! We take a firm stance against copy cat brands, so your original creativity should shine. Specifically, if you will ‘make anything’ for customers based on a google photo likely belonging to someone else….we’re not your community.

We get MANY requests to be a vetted service provider of the Hub, but are highly selective in who we partner with. Integrity, months in business, unique services or products, and proven track record are all considered in our terms of service. If you have an app, service, or tool for retailers, apply so we can get to know you and see if we’d be a match made in heaven.

We create new tips and trainings almost daily! We put all of these in our member’s training library, our blog, podcast, groups, and we’ll email you each week with updates! Want to see a training we haven’t created yet? Just ask!

We get it, life happens! You can cancel your monthly membership at any time! If you have an annual membership (which saves you $), you can cancel at that time, anything sooner will remove you from the community at that time. But remember, any discounts you have as a Hub member become void with industry service providers when membership is canceled!
