ABOUT DESIREE HANSON
Desiree is the VP of Fashion Events for Clarion UX (formerly Urban Expositions.) She brings 14 years of trade show experience with Reed Exhibitions followed by three years of jewelry market research experience with NPD Group where she provided specialty retailers with market insights. Prior to NPD, she was event director for JCK’s niche events, LUXURY PRIVE, and managed education and special events for LUXURY and JCK Events during the Las Vegas and Tucson Jewelry weeks. During her tenure with JCK, Desiree was instrumental in the curation of custom show floor environments and creating unique, memorable experiences for buyers and exhibitors.

Desiree currently serves as Vice President of Chapter Affairs on the Executive Board of the Women’s Jewelry Association and as Program Director for the American Gem Society Connecticut Guild. She is a Past President of the Women’s Jewelry Association Metropolitan Chapter and was awarded the 2014 WJA Award for Excellence in the Special Services category. She resides in Madison, Connecticut with her husband, two sons and two Golden Retrievers.
