When it comes to western fashion, the wives and girlfriends of professional rodeo athletes are seasoned, fashion veterans.
Whether they are flying each weekend to Professional Bull Riding (PBR) events across the country or making all-night drives from one rodeo to the next, these women always look like they spent hours on their appearance; when in reality they have a single suitcase to pick outfits from, and somehow still manage to look flawless, even after getting ready in a dimly-lit horse trailer.
We caught up with some of our favorite rodeo wives and girlfriends, hoping they would spill the details on a few of their style secrets, and boy did they ever!

What’s your current favorite fashion trend? I love all the Rompers and Jumpsuits!
Who is your fashion icon or someone who you think is always killing it with her looks? Jessie James Decker. She is a friend of mine but always has her fashion on point!
What’s one piece in your closet you can’t live without? A black body suit. Perfect for most occasions. You can wear it casually with some jeans, or dress it up with a skirt!
Do you have a NFR packing trick you swear by? I use those vacuum seal bags that make your clothes fit in a smaller area. This is a big must if flying or needing to travel light. The more you can fit in one bag, the better.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Vegas during the NFR? I love the High Roller Ferris Wheel! I recommend riding it at night so you can see all the Vegas Lights!
What’s one thing you take with you on the road that you couldn’t live without? Cocoa Brown Self Tanner. It is a must!
What’s your favorite PBR event of the year, and why? My favorite event of the year is The Last Cowboy Standing in Vegas. The weather is always perfect and I love relaxing by the pool.

What’s your current favorite fashion trend? All things fringe! Fringe on cowboy boots, purses, skirts, jewelry, etc.
What’s one piece in your closet you can’t live without? Any graphic tees! They’re my favorite and so easy to style for a casual, cute look.
Who is your fashion icon or someone who you think is always killing it with her looks? I love the classic country stars like Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, and Dottie West fashion style. They had the most epic outfits. A lot of what they wore inspired my clothing as Miss Rodeo America (2013).
Do you have a fashion or makeup/hair hack that needs to be shared? Dry shampoo is a girl’s best friend. Especially while traveling on the road when there is not much time (or energy) to wash your hair.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Vegas during the NFR? I love to shop at The Crystals or hit the spa at Monte Carlo.
What’s one thing you take with you on the road that you couldn’t live without? My “Diva Ring” light & Reign Lashes. I CAN NOT apply makeup without either!
What’s your favorite rodeo/event of the year, and why? Nashville PBR. It has the best crowd, food & the paychecks are more than other events, so Cooper enjoys that!
